(see bid tabulation) WELD COUNTY COLORADO BY: MONICA MIKA DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MEMORANDUM TO: Board of Commissioners DATE: March 23, 2011 FROM: Joshua Holbrook, Public Works Department SUBJECT: 2011 Geotechnical Testing Service, B1100028 Bids were received and opened on March 14, 2011 for the Geotechnical Testing Service contract. Seven bids were received and the amounts ranged from $16,949.00 to $26,835.00 with the lowest bid submitted by Ground Engineering Consultants. The low bid is within the 2011 estimated budget for this contract; therefore, it is my recommendation to award the project to Ground Engineering for a total amount of $16,949.00. The Public Works Department has used Ground Engineering in the past and they are a reputable company. pc: Pat Persichino, Public Works Director Wayne Howard, Public Works County Engineer 3/aglow/ c201/-644,5 E4 cloy 2011 On -Call Geotechnical Testing Service (Proposal No. B1100028) Company Engineering Est.
