Subject: Changes to Draft Resolution for USR13-0027
Date: September 11, 2013
After the Planning Commission Hearing the applicant worked with staff to determine if the existing well and the
existing septic system were adequately permitted to meet the proposed application and it was determined that
the well is permitted for commercial use and the septic system is designed for 8 people and therefore, are
adequate to serve the proposed USR13-0027 as submitted.
Condition 1. A has been met and can be deleted.
Proposed Amendments to Development Standards:
• Delete Development Standard #4. The number of employees per the application is four (4) part-time
employees per the Environmental Health Standard Policies 2.2.K.
Replace with the following:
"The number of on -site employees shall be commensurate with the number of persons which the
septic system may accommodate in accordance with the requirements of the Weld County Code,
'pertaining to Individual Sewage Disposal Systems (I.S.D.S.) Regulations." (Department of Planning
Services)
• Delete a portion of Development Standard #12, specifically everything after the first sentence as
follows:
12. Adequate drinking, hand washing and toilet facilities shall be provided for employees and patrons
of the facility, at all times. As employees or contractors are on cite for less than 2 consecutive
hours a day portable toilets and bottled water are acceptable. Records of maintenance and
proper disposal for portable toilets shall be retained on a quarterly basis and available for review
