HomeMy WebLinkAbout790689.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DENY REQUEST OF WELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT 6 FOR WAIVER OF FEES CONCERNING SEWER AND WATER LINES. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a new school is being constructed at the intersec- tion of 20th Street and 47th Avenue west of Greeley, and WHEREAS, Weld County School District 6 has requested that the permit fees for the sewer and water lines be waived, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that it would not be in the best interests of Weld County to waive said fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Weld County School District 6 for a waiver of sewer and water line permit fees be, and hereby is, denied. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of August, A.D. , 1979 . We have discussed this project with Mr. Gil Olson of your office and provided him a copy of our plan and specifications V for the proposed pipe lines. �S We respectfully request a waiver of the usual fees for the sewer and water lines. We are a tax supported institution and assume that the fees listed in paragraph 27 of page 2 of the application form do not apply to Weld County School District #6.
