The submitted material does not appear to qualify as a "subdivision" as defined in § 30-28-
101(10)(a), C.R.S. Therefore, pursuant to the State Engineer's March 4, 2005 and March 11, 2011
memorandums to county planning directors, this office will only perform a cursory review of the referral
information and provide comments. The comments will not address the adequacy of the water supply
plan for this property or the ability of the water supply plan to satisfy any County regulations or
requirements.
The application for site specific development plan and use by special review seeks to use a
7.29 -acre parcel for an oil and gas company equipment storage, repair, and maintenance facility. The
subject property is known as Lot C of RECX11-0036. The facility will have approximately four (4) on -
site employees with 14-32 additional employees visiting the site daily.
The proposed water supply for the site is the Central Weld County Water District (CWCWD). A
"Can Serve" letter from CWCWD dated July 9, 2013 was provided with the application. The letter
states that water service can be provided to the property on the condition that all requirements of the
Central Weld County Water District, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and the U.S.
Bureau of Reclamation are satisfied. CWCWD most recently provided this office with information about
their water supplies in September of 2012. Based on this information, CWCWD is considered to have
adequate water supply.
