RE: AUTHORIZE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH WELD COUNTY
REGIONAL CRIME LAB OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Regional Crime Lab Operations and Maintenance has
been created to receive and pay shared operation and maintenance costs for the Cities of Fort
Collins, Loveland, and Greeley, Larimer County, and Weld County, and
WHEREAS, money received to fund the above effort must be accounted for via an
enterprise fund, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to establish said fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be, and hereby is, authorized to
establish Fund 5200 for the benefit of the Weld County Regional Crime Lab Operations and
Maintenance Fund.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of October, A.D., 2013.
