Dear Mr. Carlson:
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division is denying the
Notice of Authorization for the Use and Distribution of Biosolids for the above referenced site from Liquid
Waste Management Inc. The Division has reviewed the Letter of Intent (LOI) for the above -referenced site and
has determined that the LOI has failed to demonstrate compliance with:
soil depth criteria as described in section 64.15(G)(2) of the Biosolids Regulation 64 (5 CCR 1002-64).
The information supplied in the LOI (and supplemental information) indicate that "depth to bedrock" is a
concern for this site.
groundwater depth criteria as described in section 64.15(D) of the Biosolids Regulation 64 (5 CCR 1002-
64). The information supplied in the LOI (and supplemental information) indicate that "depth to
groundwater" is a concern for this site.
