RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND RE -APPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Pat Kindvall and Joe Rains be re -appointed to
said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tracy Axton be appointed to said board, to
replace Matthew Halverson; that Aaron Helus be appointed to said board, to replace Lynette
Hanzlicek; that Marlin Kunau be appointed to said board, to replace Marge Mecurio, and that
Michael Mitchell be appointed to said board, to replace Terry Sandmeier.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Pat Kindvall and Joe Rains be, and hereby are re -appointed and Tracy
Axton, Aaron Helus, Marlin Kunau, and Michael Mitchell be, and hereby are appointed to the Fair
Board, all with terms to expire September 30, 2016.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of October, A.D., 2013.
