FOR THE YEAR, 1975 :
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Greeley Journal, published in
Greeley, Colorado, be and it is hereby designated the official
newspaper for publication of legal notices required by law to
be published by the various Weld County Officials with the
reservations contained in the following paragraphs and upon
the following terms:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Greeley Journal be and
is hereby designated the official newspaper for publication of
the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and County
Welfare Board of Weld County, Colorado, upon the following terms :
Legal notices, solid nonpareil, single column measure,
first insertion $1. 90 per inch; each subsequent insertion
$1. 40 per inch;
Publishing proceedings of County Commissioners and County
Welfare Board, solid nonpareil, single column measure,
one insertion price per inch, $1 . 90;
Publishing of semi-annual financial statement furnished
Board by County Treasurer, to be published within 60 days
following June 30 and December 31, 1975 , solid nonpareil,
single column measure, one insertion price per inch, $1. 90;
Publishing delinquent tax list, solid nonpareil, single
column measure, the actual cost of the fee for publication
of each description of lots or tracts of land in the
delinquent tax list computed at: first insertion price
per inch, $1. 40; each subsequent insertion price per inch,
$1. 40;
All other notices required to be published by the various
County Officials to be run in the Greeley Journal at the
rate of $1. 90 per single column inch for the first insertion;
each subsequent insertion $1 . 40 per inch; all notices to be
set in solid nonpareil type;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the right is reserved to
advertise Request for Treasurer' s Deeds on behalf of Weld County
in the local papers of the community in which the property is
described and situated, when the cost of said advertisement does
not exceed the rates of such advertising set forth in this contract;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the paper awarded the contract
for said advertising shall furnish the County Commissioners with
a copy of each publication thereof during the life of this contract;
also, shall furnish 100 extra copies of such issues which contain
the first publication of the delinquent tax list and as many
more copies as the County Treasurer may require; provided, if the
taxes on any lot or tract of land shall be paid between the date
of delivery of the list to such newspaper and the date of first
publication of such list, then such lot or tract of land shall be
omitted from the published list and the actual charge which shall
be only $2. 50 penalty charge by the County Treasurer upon such
omitted lots and tracts, respectively, shall be included as a
part of the cost of publication of such list; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract is hereby
awarded to the said Greeley Journal pursuant to the terms of the
bid with the understanding that prices for the publication and
advertising not specifically mentioned in this bid will be
determined by getting bids on these items from local newspapers
as the need arises; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that a satisfactory bond, subject to the
approval of the Board of County Commissioners may be required of
the paper obtaining the contract for said advertising; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote:

the actual charge which sha ll be only the $2.50 penalty charged by the County
Treasurer upon such payment, made for such omitted lots or tracts, respectively, shall
be included as part of the cost of publication of such list.
All bids called for and made shall be in compliance with CRS 1963, 137-9-6.
All other advertising not specifically mentioned in the above shall be furnished at
lowest market prices and shall not exceed prices quoted above, with the understanding that
prices for publication and advertising not specifically mentioned in this bid will
