HomeMy WebLinkAbout20132347.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON COUNTY ROAD 49 FROM COUNTY ROADS 22 TO COUNTY ROAD 26 FOR PAVING PROJECT WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the Board that "Reduce Speed Limit" signs be temporarily installed on County Road 49 from County Road 22 to County Road 26, to ensure safety to the traveling public during paving, and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic control devices are necessary for the protection of the general public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to temporarily install "Reduce Speed Limit" signs on County Road 49 from County Road 22 to County Road 26, for the safety of the general public during paving, and said signs shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of August, A.D., 2013.
