RE: ITEMIZED LIST OF LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2014
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays proposed for 2014 as days off for Weld County
employees:
New Year's Day (2014)
Washington/Lincoln Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Year's Day (2015)
FLOATING HOLIDAYS:
Sheriffs Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of
Colorado.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the list of holidays as set forth above shall be observed during the
calendar year of 2014 as days off for Weld County employees.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of September, A.D., 2013.
