RE: DECLARE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND DIRECT STAFF
TO RESEARCH POTENTIAL OPTIONS FOR THE DISPOSITION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County Code Section 5-4-160 requires that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain real estate, "the Evans Ambulance
Station", described as EVS 1PV9-13 L13 and L14, BLK9 PLATTE VALLEY SUB 1, and known
as 3401 11th Avenue, Evan, CO, 80620 (hereinafter referred to as "the Real Estate"), is no
longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, it is in the County's best interest to determine the appropriate disposition of
the Real Estate, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare the Real Estate surplus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Real Estate be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that staff is directed to research potential
options for the disposition of the Real Estate.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
