Weld County has received one bid for this vehicle and recommends awarding the sole bidder to Spradley
Barr Ford in the amount of $35,975.00. This project received CMAQ funds, please refer to the agency's

Letter of support for the CNG fueling site in Gilcrest, Colorado
It is with great anticipation for the fueling site in Gilcrest, Colorado that I write this letter of
support on behalf of the Town of LaSalle.
Benefits to the site in Gilcrest is obvious as Weld County RE -1 School District, along with the
municipalities and special fire districts of LaSalle, Gilcrest, and Platteville have already or are In
the process of purchasing CNG vehicles which will greatly improve the air quality in the entire
region. Lower fuel costs for these entities will be seen from the use of the vehicles and realized
even more If the station is approved in Gilcrest.
As our region is significantly impacted by oil and gas it is natural that a fill station would be
placed in such a centralized location for us to use.
