RE: AUTHORIZE COUNTY TREASURER TO ISSUE A DUPLICATE TAX SALE
CERTIFICATE FOR ORTIS BUCHER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County Treasurer, Frances M. Loustalet, has
requested authority to issue a duplicate tax sale certificate
No. 364/1967 issued by the Weld County Treasurer to Ortis Bucher
in the amount of Ninety One Dollars and 84/100 ($91. 84) , dated
in 1967, and which certificate has been lost, misplaced, stolen,
or destroyed, covering the 1966 taxes on the following described
property, to-wit:
Lots 6 to 8, Block 7, 1st Add Keota
ants 4-5, Block 7, 1st Add Keota
N1 & ants 7 to 12, Block 8, 1st Add Keota
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer has presented a Lost
Instrument Bond for the Board' s approval and acceptance, to in-
demnify him and Weld County against loss by reason of issuing said
duplicate tax sale certificate, a copy of said bond being attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interest of
Weld County to authorize the County Treasurer to issue a new certi-
ficated under proper circumstances of indemnification of both the
Weld County Treasurer and Weld County, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer,
Frances M. Loustalet, be and he hereby is, authorized to issue a
duplicate tax sale certificate No. 364/ 1967 to Ortis Bucher in the
amount of Ninety One Dollars and 84/100 ($91. 84) , subject to re-
ceiving a bond in the sum of Three Hundred Two Dollars and 82/100
($302. 82) hereinabove referred to, being a proper bond and in the
proper amount as complete indemnification of the Weld County Treasurer
and Weld County, Colorado.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
May, A.D. , 1978 .

sworn upon oath, depose and say: That I, tet-, are the identical person(4) to
whom was issued (or assingd) Tax Certificate Numbered 364 of the 1967
Weld County Tax Sale, covering the 19 6 6 taxes on:
Lots 6 to 8 Block 7 1st Add Kota
Lots 4-5 Block 7 1st Add Kota
N1 & Lots 7 to 12 Block 8 1st Add Keota.
Assignment being made by Wald County
That said (assigned) Certificate iaas been misplaced, lost or destroyed
and after the most careful and diligent search, I, ibis, cannot find the same
nor can I, We, produce the same for presentation for a Treasurer's or Tax
Deed for the property covered by this Certificate. That I, 1ft, have not
assigned or disposed of this Certificate to any other person or persons, and
that I, in, are still the legal owner of said Certificate. That I, Vet, make
this affidavit for the purpose of inducing the county commissioners of said
Weld County, Colorado, to authorize issuance by the County Treasurer of
said Weld County of a new certificate, upon the condition that I, , indemnify
said Weld County and the Weld County Treasurer for and on account of said

United States of America, for the payment of which well and truly to be made,
we bind ourselves, each of us, and our heirs, executors, administrators,
jointly and severally by these presents firmly.

The condition of this obligation is such that, WHEREAS, a certain Tax
Sales Certificate No. 364 of the 1967 Tax Sale of Weld County, Colorado,
issued and signed by the then Treasurer of Weld County, State of Colorado,
and assigned to Ortis Bucher , for the sum of $ Ninety one & 84/100
the same having been lost, and having established by proof of said loss to the
satisfaction of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
and they have by proper Order entered a record authorizing the issuance of a
duplicate Tax Sale Certificate by the County Treasurer Numbered 364
of the 19 67 Tax Sale with all subsequent endorsements thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, If the said Obligors shall save the County of
Weld and keep harmless the County and all of its officials from all damages,
suits and claims of whatever nature, occasioned by the issuance of said
duplicate Tax Sale Certificate without the surrender of the original, then
this obligation toy be
void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
