RE: REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON 35TH AVENUE
BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND O STREET DURING CONSTRUCTION AND
PLACEMENT OF PERMANENT STOP SIGN AT THE APPROACH FROM
GREELEY SAND AND GRAVEL ONTO 35TH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado statute, the Board of County
Commissioners has determined upon the basis of traffic and per-
sonal investigations through the Department of Engineering,
that conditions exist which make it necessary to reduce the
speed limit on 35th Avenue between 4th Street and O Street to
35 m.p.h. during construction thereof, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board of County
Commissioners that a permanent stop sign be placed at the ap-
proach from Greeley Sand and Gravel onto 35th Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the Board deems it necessary and in the
best interest of Weld County, to regulate, warn, and guide
traffic on 35th Avenue by reduction of the speed to 35 m.p.h
during construction, and to further permanently place a stop
sign at the approach from Greeley Sand and Gravel onto 35th
Avenue, for safety of the general public and that said traffic
control devices shall conform to the State Manual and specifi-
cations.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th
day of August, A.D. , 1977.

Subject: Traffic Control On Or Before
It is necessary to place temporary speed control sign on
35th Avenue between 4th Street and 0 Street at 35 miles
miles per hour. Also a permanent stop sign will placed at
Greeley Sand Gravel . Drawing of this traffic control is
attached.
Will you please adopt the necessary resolution for
this speed control sign and stop sign.
