RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shirley Medbery be appointed to said board, to
replace George Conger, and Bruce Fitzgerald be appointed to said board, to replace Marcia Osborn,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Shirley Medbery and Bruce Fitzgerald
to said board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Shirley Medbery and Bruce Fitzgerald be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2016.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 5th day of August, A.D., 2013.
