RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Brad Walker be appointed to said board as a
Crop Science Representative, to replace Mike Freeman, with a term to expire February 1, 2014,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jeff Hasbrouck be appointed to said board
as a Livestock Representative, to replace Joe Intermill, with a term to expire February 1, 2016,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jeffrey Hare be reappointed as an At -large
Representative, John "Dwight" Steel be reappointed as a Master Gardener/Horticulture
Representative, and Terry Gertge be reappointed as a Crop Science Representative, all with
terms to expire February 1, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to make the aforementioned appointments
and reappointments to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to the Extension Advisory Council, with their respective terms to expire as
described above.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of February, A.D., 2013.
