RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR EXPANDED SERVICES AT FORT LUPTON SERVICE
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been requested that the services provided at
the Fort Lupton Service Center be expanded to include the issuance
of building permits and septic tank permits , and further that an
administrative clerk position be created on a temporary basis, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Clerk and Recorder, the Weld County
Building Inspection Department and the Weld County Health Depart-
ment have agreed to said expansion of services, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said expansion
of services at the Fort Lupton Service Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the following is hereby
approved:
1. Authorize the issuance of building permits at the Fort
Lupton Service Center with the County Clerk's staff
working in conjunction with the Weld County Building
Inspection staff.
2. Authorize the issuance of septic tank permits at the
Fort Lupton Service Center with the County Clerk' s
staff working in conjunction with the Weld County
Health Department.
3. Authorize the creation of one additional administrative
clerk position, on a temporary basis, from April 1, 1979
through June 1, 1979.
4. Authorize the additional funding of $1, 875 to provide
the resources to pay for the administrative clerk' s
position.

5. Instruct the Weld County Clerk and Recorder, the Weld
County Building Inspection Department and the Weld County
Health Department to make an assessment in June as to
whether to continue this function at the Fort Lupton
Service Center.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
March, A.D. , 1979 .
