RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT VETERANS SERVICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Sections 28-5-801 through 805, C.R.S., enumerate the obligations, terms,
and qualifications of County Veterans Service Officers, and
WHEREAS, David Fry has served the Weld County citizens as the Assistant Veterans
Service Officer since August 1, 2011, with a term set to expire June 30, 2013, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint David Fry as the Assistant
Veterans Service Officer, with a new term to begin July 1, 2013, and end June 30, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that David Fry be, and hereby is, reappointed as the Assistant Veterans
Service Officer, with a term set to expire June 30, 2015.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of July, A.D., 2013, nunc pro tune July 1, 2013.
