RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION TO APPOINT GEORGE HEATH TO GREELEY
HOUSING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Greeley Housing Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners recommends to the Mayor of the City
of Greeley that George Heath be appointed to said board as a commissioner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that George Heath be, and hereby is, recommended for appointment to the
Greeley Housing Authority.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 20th day of May, A.D., 2013.

COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD, TO ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS TO
EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF WILDFIRE MITIGATION TECHNIQUFrS
IN THE CACHE LA POUDRE WATERSHED
Council's recommended action is to adopt the Resolution. (Resolution No. 28, 2013)
15. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GREELEY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT BEIM/FEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS AND THE GREELEY POLICE DEPARTMENT
Council's recommended action is to adopt the Resolution. (Resolution No. 29, 2013)
16. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
CITY OF GREELEY'S POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE WELD COUNTY
SHERIFF'S OFFICE REGARDING DISTRIBUTION OF JOINT FUNDING
PROVIDED BY THE BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE
Council's recommended action is to adopt the Resolution. (Resolution No. 30, 2013)
Councilmember Elder moved, seconded by Councilmember Sapienza to approve the items on the
Consent Agenda and their recommended actions. The motion carried: 5-0 (Finn and
Gates excused)
