S3. AFFIDAVIT.
County of Teld.
James H Beggs, of lawful age, being first duly sworn, on oath deposes and says: that he
is the President of The Keene Lumber & Supply Company and is familiar with the business of said
Company. That The Keene Lumber & Supply Company heretofore, in the year 1913, obtained a judg-
ment in the District Court in and for the County of Teld, State of Colorado, against Its. L.L. .
Robinson-Hooker; that a certified copy of such judgment was recorded on the 24th day of February,
1913, in Book "C" at page 8, of said Teld County records.
Affiant further says: that on February 16, 1916, The Keene Lumber & Supply Company gave
a quit claim deed to Audrey Rooker, formerly Audrey Robinson, for the purpose of relieving the
real estate then standing in the name of Audrey Rooker, formerly Audrey Robinson, from the lien
created by the filing of the transcript of the above mentioned judgment; that said Quit Claim
Deed conveyed the following real estate, to-wit:
The South-Test Quarter, and the Test one-calf of the South-east Quar-
ter, end the South-west Quarter of the North-west Quarter, of Section
two (2) in Township two 12) North, Range E3 Test, of the Eth P.1'., in
Teld County, Colorado.
Affiant further says: that at the time of the execution and delivery of said Quit Claim
teed, the said The Heene Lumber & Supply Company, were the owners and holders of the judgment against
Yrs. 1. L. Robinson—Hooker, and that said Quit Claim reed was given for the purpose of relieving
the property described in said Quit Claim Deed from any judgment or lien created by reason of the
filing of the transcript .. of said judgment in the records of the County of Teld, State of Colorado,
and that The Feene Lumber & Supply Company claim no lien of any nature, whatsoever, against the prop—
erty described in said Quit Claim Deed, which said deed is recorded in the records of tell County,
Colorado, on the 22rd day of February, 1916, in Book 429 at Page 392. Further affiant saith not.

THIS DEED, made this fifth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hun-
dred and twenty-nine between Frank Y. Thite of the City & County of Denver, in the State of Colorado,
hereinafter celled the grantor, and L. F. Pillar of the City & County of Denver, State of Colorado,
hereinafter called the grantee, TIT:T.,SSETH:
That the said grantor, for and in consideration of the sun.. of Cne dollar and other valuable
considerations in hand paid by the said grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and
acknowledged, has, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, convey, set over, assirn end
deliver unto said grantee ar. undivided ICre half) interest in and to all of the oil, gas and other
minerals contained in and that ray be produced from the following described lands situated in the

and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said grantee, her heirs and assigns forever,
and said grantor hereby bind.. herself, and her heirs, executors, administrators, assigns and legal
representatives to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said property unto the said grantee,
her heirs and assigns, against every person whomseover lawfully claiming or to claim the sage or any
part thereof, and to protect and save harmless the grantee, her heirs and assigns, from and against
any and all mortgages, deeds of trust or other liens or encumbrances now or hereafter attaching to or
covering the above described premises or any pert thereof.
